Hallgrímskirkja, Reykjavik
In the low sun of late autumn, Hallgrímskirkja rises above Reykjavik in cool tones and elongated shadows. The subdued blues and textured stone reflect the season’s quiet austerity — a moment where light, architecture, and northern air meet in still harmony.

Oculus, New York
Curves, light, and shadow transform the Oculus into a sculptural abstraction, revealing the poetry hidden within New York’s urban architecture.

Icelandic Winter, Late November
Soft sunset light illuminates snow-covered terrain, highlighting the textures and muted colours of Iceland’s rugged late-autumn landscape.

In the Frame.
Mirroring the figure in Lucian Freud’s lover’s portrait, she becomes both observer and observed, stepping into the frame where art and life entwine.

My Analogue Comrade
The Zorki 4 rests alongside two rolls of 35mm black-and-white film, a nod to the craft and patience of analogue photography. Together, they celebrate the deliberate rhythm of seeing, capturing, and creating in a world beyond the digital.

Fading Lines
An old Riley car and thresher stand bathed in late-afternoon light, slowly yielding to years of exposure. Rusted metal, peeling paint, and softened contours speak of impermanence, memory, and the quiet beauty found in things left to time.

New Year’s Walk
On New Year’s Day, a family walks through the foggy expanse of Knowle Park, Kent. The mist blurs the landscape and the moment, capturing quiet intimacy and the stillness of early winter.

Crossing the Street
Blurred forms and streaks of motion capture the energy and rhythm of people crossing a street in Kowloon. Through intentional camera movement, the image transforms everyday passage into abstraction, emphasizing pace, colour, and the pulse of urban life.

A Dance in the Park
Beneath Stratford-upon-Avon’s Bandstand, a couple moves in close hold, their rhythm and gesture harmonising with the quiet park around them. The moment captures intimacy, grace, and the timeless joy of shared dance.

Waiting Patiently
A Bald Eagle perches atop a weathered post in an Alaskan fishing village, its gaze steady and vigilant. Stillness and patience merge, capturing both the bird’s majesty and the quiet, enduring rhythm of life on the northern shores.

Raging Bull, Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022
Captured in monochrome, the mechanical bull stands as a powerful reminder of Birmingham’s industrial past. Shadows and form evoke the city’s grit, energy, and enduring spirit, transforming machinery into a monument of heritage and motion.

Sunset on 1 WTC
Viewed from the Empire State Building, 1 World Trade Center rises against a sky tinted with nostalgic tones, evoking the atmosphere of New York in the 1960s and 1970s. The warm, muted palette recalls the city’s past while framing a contemporary landmark in a timeless urban narrative.

Dea Matrona, Hare and Hounds
Captured in the electric atmosphere of Kings Heath, Dea Matrona commands the stage with intensity and presence. The image conveys the energy, raw emotion, and communal experience of live performance, celebrating both the music and the vibrant spirit of Birmingham’s local music scene.

Face to Face - Alaska
A close encounter with an Alaskan Black Bear captures the intensity and presence of this magnificent animal. Every detail of its gaze and expression conveys alertness, strength, and the quiet power of the wild.

Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham

Love Where You Live
A vibrant, athletic figure in an advertising poster on the side of a bus shelter, its energy and posture alive with motion. In contrast, a solitary, muted figure approaches, creating a tension between art and life, vitality and stillness — a reflection on incongruity, observation, and the rhythms of everyday urban existence.

Oxford Watch
The Oxford Bulldog observes, while a man converses with the woman on college grounds, a measured presence blending authority with civility against the backdrop of historic architecture.

Urban Pause, Reykjavík
A lone bicycle leans against a wall beneath a vibrant mural, capturing a quiet moment of stillness amid the city’s streets. The juxtaposition of everyday object and artistic expression reflects Reykjavík’s blend of urban life and creative spirit.

Just a Moment in Time, Grand Central Station
Amid the bustling concourse, crowds move with purpose while others pause, capturing, observing, or simply being. The image freezes a fleeting interplay of motion and stillness, revealing the rhythm, energy, and humanity of one of New York’s iconic spaces.

White Orchid
A single white orchid, elegantly supported, stands against a pure white background. The composition highlights the architectural form of the flower, transforming its delicate natural curves into a study of line, balance, and structural grace.

Atlantic Dreams
A couple and their dog relax on the deck of the Queen Mary 2, crossing the Atlantic beneath open skies. The image recalls the quiet romance of ocean travel—an echo of a bygone era, where time slows, horizons stretch endlessly, and companionship becomes its own destination.

Ethereal Ascent
Bathed in luminous light, a man climbs the Ashmolean’s staircase, suspended between reality and reverie. The ascent becomes a metaphor for exploration, reflection, and the quiet thrill of discovery yet to come.
